Challenge Melbourne Race Simulation
Saturday 4th January 2014-5:30 to 6:10am Registration for a 6:25am start.
This Saturday is your chance to swim, bike and run on parts of the Challenge Melbourne course. We look forward to seeing as many people as possible for this fantastic prepatory event.
January Swim Squad Technique Focus
Four Squads per week: 6:30pm Monday & Wednesday, 6am Tuesday & Friday
The elbow leads the recovery phase and is followed by the hand. The hand moves forward close to the head in a relaxed position. The elbow bramins flexed and higher than the hand throughout the recovery. The arm starts to extend fowards slightly in preparation for entry
Next longer efforts and open water skills
Once a month we will do a longer time trial pace effort, with one Novice lane and a combined double lane. Wesuits optional (note the water is heated and wesuits are not required)
Bayside Tri Club Aquathons
Typical race format will be 500m swim and 5km run. $5 for club members and $10 for non-members and includes pizza and can of drink.
