Bayside Tri Club Championship
Sunday 26 February, Sandringham
In hot, windy and at times testing conditions Bayisde held its annual Club Championship race in conjunction with the XOSize Tri Series race at Sandringham. While our dedicated wave start was smaller than previous years owing to key Ironman races such as New Zealand and Melbourne it was none the less well supported providing a great atmosphere and unique opportunity to race directly against friends, coaches and training partners.
As a first for Bayside Club history, we are proud to announce back to back championships for both the womens and mens title with Hayley White and Clint van Beveren securing the 2012 title.
The 2011/12 season has been very successful for Clint with his Club Championship joining his World Age Group Championship from Beijing. While for Hayley, in only her second full year in triathlon is challenging for the XOSize series win whilst being well placed to represent Australia and Bayside at the Worlds later this year.
Congratulations to both Clint and Hayley

With many Bayside members attending interstate races, such as the recent IM Western Australia and Canberra 70.3, the club considered it an ideal opportunity to establish contacts and support networks with the aim of building on an enjoyable experience and contributing to a successful race.
As such, Bayside members are invited to contact Fremantle Tri Club, Adelaide Tri Club & Port Macquarie Tri Club to take advantage of this partnership.
